Christy has grown her first company, WG Content, from a modest freelance writing business into a nationally recognized healthcare content consultancy. But her greatest accomplishment is the company's culture, which rests on four core values — empowered, curious, kind, and fun.

Many years ago, Christy had a coach tell her, "Your business is you, and you are your business.

It won't grow until you do." Those words led Christy on a path of continual learning, developing the vital skill of self-awareness and all that goes with it. That growth led to the creation of The BETTER Leader Project, a program designed to foster self-awareness and BETTER leadership in others.

Christy is a popular podcast speaker and is co-author of the best-selling book, "Your Cultural Balance Sheet: Keys to creating an environment where people can thrive." She's also a longtime member of Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO), a global nonprofit comprising business leaders from 65 countries.

A strong believer in life-work balance, Christy makes time for fun. She enjoys traveling to faraway places, working on her golf game and staying fit by working out and hiking. A lifelong learner, she also dabbles in new hobbies such as calligraphy, drawing and attempting to learn new languages. Christy and her partner, Pete, have three adult children between them. They frequently wonder what possessed them to own four dogs, who are always underfoot.
